Inspection, Assessment and Testing
Structural visual and physical inspection involves a systematic examination of structural surfaces and components to assess their condition and identify defects or potential issues that may affect structural integrity. This process is carried out through detailed on site observation by experienced personnel.
All findings are recorded, including the location, type, and severity of defects, supported by photographic documentation. The collected data is used for reporting, analysis, and engineering decision making.
Where defects are identified, appropriate recommendations are provided to ensure structural safety, quality, and long term performance.
Defect Classifications
Observed defects are generally classified into the following categories:
• Minor Defect
Defects that do not affect structural integrity and do not require immediate action.
• Major Defect
Defects that may affect structural performance and require further investigation, monitoring, or rectification works.
Testing and Inspection Services
We provide comprehensive inspection, assessment, and testing services to evaluate the condition, performance, and integrity of structures. By combining visual inspection with non destructive testing methods, we deliver engineering insights to support maintenance, rehabilitation, and safety assurance.
Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV)
Non destructive testing method used to assess concrete quality and detect internal defects.
Telescopic Borehole Inspection
Visual inspection method used to examine deep foundation elements and boreholes to identify anomalies or construction defects.
