Tunnel Monitoring

Monitor tunnel lining deformation caused by nearby excavation activities using distributed fibre optic strain sensing systems installed along tunnel segments. Approximately two kilometers of sensing cable deployed to capture continuous strain distribution. Monitoring data enables early detection of deformation trends, supports structural assessment, and ensures tunnel integrity and safety throughout excavation and adjacent construction activities.

Monitor performance of tunnel support systems during staged excavation following collapse and grouting of affected sections. Install distributed fibre optic strain and temperature sensors together with foil strain gauges on steel ribs, forepoles, and rock bolts. Monitoring ensures structural stability, evaluates support effectiveness, and enhances worker safety during excavation and after completion of construction works.
